The Council currently includes 15 Members from the academic community, and 3 Associate members, generally from the private sector. The members are chosen based on their area of expertise and academic record. Close attention is given to have various schools of thought and a wide range of opinions represented. None of the Members (but the chairperson) receives any allowance for writing Notes and attending the bi-monthly meetings. The opinions expressed in the Notes are those of their authors and do not represent the view of the Council as a whole.
