Stefanie Stantcheva

Professor at Harvard University

Stefanie Stantcheva is Professor of Economics at Harvard University. Between 2014 and 2016 she was a junior fellow at the Harvard Society of Fellows. She holds a PhD from MIT (2014). She received a Master from Ecole polytechnique, ENSAE and Paris School of Economics in 2009 and a Bachelor in Economics from Cambridge University, UK. In 2018, she was the recipient of a Sloan Research Fellowship. Her research in public economics studies public policies, taxation, redistribution, and innovation. She has published her works in the American Economic Review, the Journal of Political Economy, and the Review of Economic Studies among others. She is currently associate editor at the Journal of Political Economy and foreign editor at the Review of Economic Studies
